If the input is a LyX document the script produces a LaTeX file
with the LyX export function, and then processes the exported LaTeX
document. It searches LaTeX documents for referenced files (other
LaTeX docs, images), prepares for pdflatex, and converts included
EPS/PS/PSTEX images to PDF with 'epstopdf.' Finally the script runs
pdflatex, bibtex, makeindex, thumbpdf, authorindex or ppower
(according to dependencies encountered and parameter selection).
