Currently, bochs can be compiled to emulate a 386, 486 or Pentium CPU. Bochs is capable of running most operating systems inside the emulation including GNU, GNU/Linux, *BSD, FreeDOS, MSDOS and Windows 95/NT. Recent CVS versions after 1.4.1 release can emulate an x86-64 CPU.
