Impact - 3D explicit finite element program which simulates dynamic events
Impact is an explicit finite element program which
simulates dynamic events, often involving large deformations. The
program includes a pre-processor used to create the models. A solver
calculates the results which can be viewed in the included
post-processor. Users can plot detailed results with a graph
processor. Interfaces exist with other pre- and postprocessors
allowing translation of models. Several examples are included with the
program.
