Ganttproject - Lets you plan projects using a Gantt diagram

'Ganttproject' can divide projects into sub-tasks with a beginning, duration, depends, and notes. The graphic interface has several levels of granularity. You move with "next" and "previous" arrows on the toolbar. You can also directly use wheel mouse to change the level of granularity and click-move on calendar to move to the next or previous item.

You can edit the various properties of a task (date, duration, advancement, project setting) and the setting of the project (name, organization and a short description) through dialog boxes. You can assign different people to a project, with varying name, contact and functions. You can also use the mouse to set the duration, start date and depends of the task.

The program is available in English, French or Spanish. Other languages can be added by editing a special language class like GanttLanguageGerman for German.
