Top > Live Communications > Chat > Instant messaging > Kopete
Kopete's goal is to provide users with a standard, simple interface
between all of their instant messaging systems, while also giving
developers an easy wasy to write plugins to support a new
protocol. The core Kopete development team provides a handful of
plugins that most users can use and templates for new developers to
base a plugin on.
